Dale and to others who may have had the same thought: You may have to
examine the puzzle with another line of thought and reasoning.

Another clue: Don't worry, you nor anyone else is likely to be seeing one in
Idaho anytime soon (no slight intended what-so ever!). And true, you and a
lot of others have never heard of me. That's because I'm not on terra firma
much. Of course I could be all wet and be thinking of while already knowing
about something entirely different from Dennis' cryptic puzzle bird. I don't
want to spoil Dennis' Christmas surprise, assuming that I am even on the
right track and know to what bird he is addressing, before we've had a chance
to play this out and the bird is revealed in due time. And in most really
good games, the obvious clues are never revealed first. Yikes; way too many
clues sprinkled through that. Huh?! you say?

At least even here, I haven't revealed enough clues yet to tell you exactly
what the bird is or what I think it is. We've got to play this through step
by step.

Again, scrutinize Dennis' wording very very carefully.
