While admiring a Varied thrush in my back yard, I saw this

about same size and shape as thrush, bright orange chin, underlined by
a thin black stripe (at neck line not on chest)
below line yellow fading into white chest, light stripe over eye. A
magnificent bird--do the thrushes vary this much??
