If someone on tweeters asked for information on Paul Watson and the trial
in Canada send me a direct e-mail if you are still curious. I have some
good new, and more to share. Also, the Sea Shepherd magazine has interesting
articles on status of albatross and the Galapagos.

My class is finally on the "web" and becoming more engaged in learning
about our natural world, particlarly birds, and sharing our experiences
in developing environmental stewardship. Each child has or will have a
web page along with our classroom pages. We hope to offer some kid's
perspective and youth education on this high-tech medium. As a teacher I
am curious about the effect this has (negative and positive) on the kids
and their learning style and feelings. I hope we can balance the
high-tech with the field work, the high profile with the essential
natural world. Check it out and offer any critique and suggestions
whenever you feel like it. This cyber-space is an current revolutionary
experiment we face in our efforts to find our "place in space."
