We were there on Sunday, Feb. 4, and not only did we get to see about
a dozen trumpeter swans, we saw/heard/felt THOUSANDS of snow geese, first
as they landed, grazed in a field for awhile and then, as half of them
lifted off to head for the shore. It was one of the most beautiful
things I can ever remember.
