On Sunday, at Point Defiance in Takoma, the following birds, among others,
were seen:

one Pacific loon
~10? red-throated grebes
4-5 rhinoceros auklets
many Barrow & common goldeneye's
many Western grebes

etc

One of the auklets was traing some fishing line, presumably a fairly common
occurence for birds that hang around the fishing pier.
