Forgive me for dragging this on, but I was made aware of a generalization
in my previous post about Sagebrush Flats. I said that there was no
evidence that cows help or hinder rabbits. I should've said that on
Sagebrush Flats, there is no direct evidence that the current grazing
situation hurts or helps the rabbits. I never intended to make that a
global statement, so please don't take it that way. By looking elsewhere at
grazed lands, anyone can easily see the damage cows can do. That is the
potential problem with cows on Sagebrush Flats, and why they should be
removed.
