Cindy, I'm having fun tweaking the falcon people. Their term for a baby
falcon is "eyass," so I just modified that for a really tiny baby bird.
Falconers have a whole language of their own that has been adopted by hawk
enthusiasts, and they are the only group of bird people who have such a
specialized language. I'll have to admit I get somewhat reactionary toward
the implied mystique of being a hawk person rather than just a regular bird
person. And, speaking of specialized language, just the other day when I
was talking to Bud Anderson about a particular falcon's mate, he said "you
mean his girlfriend." I realized I was out of my depth.

I forgot to write in my Bushtit message that we might find, if we were
lucky, the eyrie bush containing the eyasslets.
