I would like to make a plea for volunteers who might be
interested in aiding a graduate student's research. I am examining the
reproductive success and nest site selection of the Ash- Throated
Flycatcher. This bird nests in Klickitat county, WA- this is where i
need the volunteer work done (this is about 4 hours from Seattle and 1
hour from Portland). The work will involve nest searching and some
observational data. Also there is a fair amount of vegetation data to be
taken- for all you plant lovers (i know you are out there!!). The work
will be done between late April and June (or whenever the veggie data
gets done!). Any amount of time you could spare for this project would
be greatly appreciated!!!!!
For all those who responded to my notice about the point count
and banding help i also am in need of..don't worry , that is still
happening!!! (this is merely another aspect of the research)
