This noon there was a Canvasback on the Sammamish Slough. This is the only
time I have ever seen one there. It was closely accompanied by a female
Ring-necked Duck. Also there was a mated Common Merganser pair. I think
the weather drove some of these birds to the relative shelter of the Sammamish.

Could someone post or send me offline the protocols for "postpone" or
"nomail" commands for use during vacation periods.
