Me again,
I forgot to mention the existence of a news group: rec.pets.birds
which would seem to have a conflict with the conservation issues
at hand, and may or may not be worth appealing to. The number of
news groups continues to grow however (by hundreds every year).
Perhaps in a couple of years we may start seeing groups like
rec.birding.from.model.trains and
alt.birds.fornication.artic etc.
Oh, and I forgot to mention, the news reader should also be available
to those of you who are not unix users (compu-spend, uuh I mean
compu-serve, etc., etc.) although I am not sure how to operate it.
Try the same (typing rn) command as unix, if that doesn't work,
check the documentation.
