Unknown to me when I posted information, the Clarks are still negotiating
access with the tribe for the project. Apparently the Wildlife Coordinator
position is currently empty, and things are up in the air. The count site
is on tribal land, and it is possible that only "official" project people
will be allowed onsite.

The Clarks have requested that people hold off asking for information
until they have a better idea about the tribe's willingness to allow
random people to visit this year. In the past, it has been allowed
with some restrictions. Hopefully, something similar can be worked
out this year. It is their land, though, so of course we must respect
their rights to do as they see fit.

Sorry about the confusion. Glad I didn't write an Oregonian article
about it like I did last year!

When the Clarks know what's happening, either they or I will post
an information update to tweeters, either "aye" or "nay".
