Hi Tweeters, have not posted anything before, but will give it a try.

Thought that with the recent severe decline of Band-Tailed Pigeons, that
you'd like to know that I saw 10 in the trees around my yard this
morning. My wife and I were thrilled, as it's been a couple of years
since we've seen them in the area. We live on the edge of a wooded
area, so get lots of different species through. This morning was very
active, as we had the regular Juncos and Chickadees, but also Varied
Thrush (2), Red-Shafted and Gilded Flicker (1 each), House Finches (30),
Stellars Jay (3), Rufous sided Towhee (2) and Robin (6). The yard
sounded like an aviary. SPRING IS HERE!
