Subject: Flickers

I had two intergrade Flickers at my suet feeder this a.m. One was "Yellow-shaft
ed" with red moustache. The other (not seen before today) was a typical male
"red-shafted" except that the top half of the moustache (malar stripe) was red
and the bottom half black!!!!!!! Since i don't see these intergrades after about
march, I would guess that they migrate back to where ever they came from?
