Just to add to the information flow, I have seen ravens in/around Seattle
twice in 27 years. One hung around Discovery Park for a while in the early
70s, ever findable because of the crows harassing it; people speculated it
was a released captive, but we really didn't know. It finally disappeared.
And a few years later I saw one fly across highway 520 just east of Lake
Washington. I've never seen another one closer to Seattle than east of
Issaquah, central Whidbey Island, northern Skagit Flats, or west/south of
Olympia.
