Re the discussion of young birders and female birders, what about
personality
types? Quite a few of you have probably taken the Myers-Briggs Type
Indicator
test. Would you be willing to share your personality type to generate
statistics
on who birds?

For those of you unfamailar with the MBTI, the MBTI divides the general
population into 16 types based on Introversion vs. Extroversion; Sensing
vs.
Intuitive Perception; Feeling vs. Thinking Judgement; and a preference for
using
the Judgement vs. the Perception factor. It does a great job.

I'll collect the stats at my E-mail address
Jerry_Tangren at tfrec.ncw.net

to reduce the "noise" on tweeters,
post the summary. Be warned this is less than scientific, perhaps less
even
than a CBC, but should be fun (some people are as fanatic about
personality
type statistics as others are about birds). Please indicate if you are
male
or female (for comparisons with the general population where differences
occur).

Thanks,
