I probably shouldn't comment because I skipped the CBC's this year, but I
second
Andy on the Chelan area and observer coverage. I've participated on the
Chelan
count in the past, and find that the species diversity in the Chelan area
is
amazing. My second highest species count (61) for a winter day in eastern WA

comes from a small area within the Chelan CBC circle. I've also been
extremely
frustrated knowing that I couldn't possibly cover all the area assigned to
me
and that I was missing many species.
