I am a graduate student in Wildlife sciences at UW. I am looking
at neotropical migrants in the oakwoodlands of Washington (around and
along the Klickitat river). I am looking to hire a couple of point count
people (this people need to be able to id NW birds by song and call). I
am also in need of some banders (your note Stuart, made me think you may
be interested in this). The field season is from April to September
(this is a rough idea - it will be coming together soon). This are paid
positions- of course this IS biological research so you won't make a
killing - but that shouldn't be your motivation either....If you are
interested or want more info contact me ....
