For a "guarenteed" spot to see Killdeer, try the original P-patch at the
corner of NE 82nd St and 25th Ave NE., Seattle. EVERY time i've gone
there (to drool over others' gardening handiwork instead of working on my
own) there have been at least 1 Killdeer, sometimes young also! Of course
my sampling period is biased towards the spring and summer months.
