You are right! I do know Susan, and she is one of the top 10 birders in
the state of Missouri! And, always in search of a lifer. She is a
very knowledgeable birder, and is often my source for the answers to
puzzling birding questions. She is an energetic activist who not only
shares her knowledge and experience, but actively encourages young
birders to continue their quest. She was pivotal in helping my son
attend the VENT Camp Chiricahua in SE Arizona last summer. And I don't
think she would be offended at being called an occasional twitcher,
although she is a lister,too, and a birder extraordinaire!
