{Please be advised this road today would require your vehicle to be equipped
with: 1) 4WD +chains + modest driving skill ; 2) rails like on a
horse-drawn sleigh and make your way downhill; 3) steel tracks like an army
tank; or 4) exceptional luck with just 4WD. Our foursome just had the
latter...we did not make it to the spot. Luckily we had a shovel. Besides,
the redpolls are probably 10 miles farther up the creek by now, maybe even
in Oregon.
