Along with the Barred Owl that perched all day in front of the main
(downtown) branch of the Multnomah County Library (i.e. downtown
Portland), quite a year for urban Barred Owl's!

We've also had two goshawks in urban Portland, one downtown just a
couple of blocks away and a couple of days later than the owl, and
another - an adult - in SE Portland about a mile from my house. Which
I didn't see.

I'm a Software Engineer. I make sure I've got lots of big projects that
take a long time to compile so that I can keep up on my mail.
