The Iceland Gull that has been near Lewiston in Idaho for the past two weeks
was seen in Clarkston, WA at noon on 8 January by my wife Marty and I at the
confluence of the Snake and Clearwater Rivers. It is a first year bird in
winter plumage. The spot, a resting area for numbers of gulls, can be
scanned from the back corner of the Costco parking lot. I would be happy to
give further directions for any interested.
