First of all: Hooray for the Digest feature.

Until two days ago, I felt myself aswamp in individual Tweeters
messages. Now they come in one sweet (if fat) package once a day. This
is great. I can peruse it like a single satchel of dispatches.

Secondly: Someone has suggested that writers be limited to x number of
words per day. FRIGHTFUL IDEA!

I find the writing on Tweeters to be delightful and extremely
informative. I don't think anyone should be scolded for sharing an
abundance of their observations.

So, if you do feel swamped by mail, just use the digest option. And if
you feel some people write too much, then click right past their
postings. But we ought not tell them to, electronically speaking, shut up.
