An interesting article in the Queen Anne News:

"Five tires on three park vehicles were slashed ... Dec 28. A Discovery
Park employee discovered the damage the next morning. The employee told
the officer that the day before a birdwatcher was causing problems in the
park Visitor's Center. The birdwatcher, a man in his late 50s, was irate
because the Discovery Park is thinning out its abundant scotch broom,
which the birdwathcer said is 'greatly disturbing the habitat.' The
birdwatcher was 'yelling and accusing and refusing to leave,' according
to the employee, who attempted to get his name. The employee feels that
this man could have returned the following night to 'seek revenge.'"

I swear it wasn't me :)
