Proposed Legislation has been introduced in the Washington House of
Representatives by Steve Furhman that that would eviscerate the state's
ability to protect wildlife native to our state that are endangered or
threaten or likely to become so. A hearing will be held on HB 1000 on
Friday Jan 20, Hearing Rm. C. House Office Bldg. Citizens need to
communicate there concerns to their state representatives or the Chairman
of the Natural Resouces Committee, Steve Furhman (R) of Kettle Falls.
