I got a better daylight look at the pond on English Hill with the Trumpeter
Swans. I have concluded it is a very nice private collection of waterfowl.
There are 4 adult Trumpeters and 4 90% grown cignets. In addition there
were Barnacle Geese, Hooded Mergansers, Black Ducks, Green-winged Teal,
Gadwals, Wigeons, and more. The wire fence around the pond is only 4 feet
high. I can't rule out that some of the birds may be wild and have just
flown in there for the food. I'm thinking of knocking on the door. Are
collections like this unusual?
