Often I see one (alone) near Mt Baker Boathouse (Sayre's Park = hydroplane
pits) and another at the bottom of Andrews Bay when we row to Seward Park
(near the bathhouse converted to pottery studio). I once startled one that
was raiding the hatchery on the east side of Seward (since, nets have been
put up) and last April, saw--I think--the Baker and Seward GBH's preparing
to mate (lots of flying/calling) along the E shore of Andrews Bay.

A friend of mine has been keeping an eye on a GBH that hangs out near the
Montlake Fill, but she is also wondering where some other good GBH sites
are.

Any suggestions?
