Chris,

I don't know the best book but from my trip there a few years ago I learned
that many of the reserves in Belize are managed by the Belize Audubon. They
serve much like our park rangers. They are also in great need of any relevant
bird book. It is a very poor county. An Eastern Peterson Guide was asked
for but the Mexican Guide preferred.

If you are willing and Tweeters have old guides they would send perhaps you
could take some with you for Belize Audubon. It would be much appreciated.
The country is very poor and many of these people are volunteers.
