Yep, the new book A Guide to the Birds of Mexico and Northern Central
America, by Steve Howell and Sophie Webb, would suffice very well indeed.

There are a number of books on Caribbean fishes, and if you'll keep
reminding me, I'll get some names for you (they're all at home). One or
more may be available at Flora and Fauna books or the U Book Store. I
spent 2 weeks in Belize in October 1987, birding and scuba diving, and it
was great. The passerine migration on the offshore keys (we spent a day on
the keys off Dangriga) was spectacular, and it was pretty good at Ambergris
Cay too.
