I guess you don't consider eating earthworms and other lawn invertebrates
(beetles, caterpillars,weevils) to be examples of carnivory?!
In my opinion, Robins are more carnivorous than frugivorous or herbivorous
and it is probably only the winter months during which time their diets
switch to contain more plant matter (generally speaking).

Sign of the coming of the Anti-Christ? probably more likely a sign of
opportunistic feeding. Robins have been observed feeding on small fish.(
see Bent I believe).
I have never heard of Robins attacking small mammals such as the shrew,
however from the perspective of an earthworm, I think I would find Robins to
be cruel and ruthless.
