Actually, the UW Press wavered between including and not including photos
of author and artist. Maybe their first in-person meeting with us decided
them? No, actually, if you look in biology books and field guides you find
typically a lack of author photos--quite a different phenomenon than
best-selling fiction and surely of psychological/sociological interest in
itself.
