I don't like name tags either, but I can't imagine a better time and place
to have them. There are so many names floating around that belong to
people I (we) haven't met that I think it will be overwhelming without
them; it'll be overwhelming anyway. Or each of us could bring a laptop
with our name emblazoned across the screen....or, as Russell suggested,
just put your e-mail address on your tag. "Hi, I'm
673509B at compuserve.com."

And everyone should promise not to laugh when they finally set eyes on the
owner of a name! Scary, sort of like a blind date.
