In fact, Carkeek Park was where the Crimson-fronted Parakeets nested, the
birds that delighted us for so long in the north end but that haven't been
seen for some time. Maybe we'll rediscover them during the tweeters
picnic. I was just in Carkeek Sunday evening at about 7 p.m., and there
sure were a lot of people there....but we'll outnumber them next Friday.
