Ahem, Irene,

I did see Parrots (two different species) at the east edge of Carkeek
ParK in
the fall of 1993. The zoo and Seattle Audubon told me several different
species of parrots have formed small colonies with marginal survival
during bad winters. Their favorite hangout is near Ballard Locks with
various wanderings to the zoo area and other parks.
