Announcing the Paulson Profiles! Each tweet attending the yakathon is
invited to write up a description of Dennis Paulson. Imagine you're in
the field by yourself, no camera, with only one stubby pencil and half a
roll of toilet paper at your disposal. There, not 15 yards down the shore,
is a Dennis, punning (uh, preening) and feeding. But you have to make a
pretty convincing description of this find if you want the birding
community to accept such a rare sighting! Do your best!

The five runners-up descriptions will receive the chance to pull
loosestrife at the Fill for two full hours, free of charge! That's right
folks, two hours of pure purple ecstasy can be yours for the low, low
price of a simple description! But wait, there's more. If yours is the
absolute best description (nose shape, favorite color, shoe size, etc.)
you'll receive grand prize: three nights and six days of a pelagic trip
personally guided by Dennis. Watch little black birds dodge behind waves
while Dennis recites his 700 most favorite puns---don't lose your lunch!
Er, from the wave motion, of course.

The winners will be announced following the soon-to-be-annual "State of the
Loosestrife Address."
