There were a fair number of juv Californias at Dungeness on Saturday, 22
July--maybe 1% of the many hundreds that were there. Also a few juv
Heermann's (among several dozen adults), one juv Ring-billed (only one of
the species) and no juv Bonaparte's (but only 10 adults) or Mews (none at
all). Lots of one-year-old California, few Heermann's of that age. No juv
Glaucous-winged or Western off the nesting colony, either.
