Scott,

There are several nest boxes just east of the Nisqually River mouth,
placed on pilings that support the Nisqually NWR boundary/closed area
signs. I never seem to make it out to the flats by boat during the
nesting/summer season - but the boxes looked to be in good shape when I
was out there last December. I assume that these were placed by the
Refuge folks, and they might have current nesting status.
