I second the congratulations! A good time was had by all - I was amazed
that 50-some-odd folks from Canada to Portland would congregate on a mid-
summer's Friday evening.

Putting faces to the names was pretty good - most everyone looked about
like what I figured they might. Except Tom, and I've known him for a few
years now. I think he looks different when I hear him on the radio, too...

And, Tom sounds different when he's on his Bird Talk show than when he's
doing his bluegrass music show. Maybe he's a chameleon?!

Question No. 1: We are supposed to be a group of birders...

Did anyone compile a list of birds seen or heard at the picnic?
(The bald eagle was a nice flyover, good planning, Tom!)

Question No. 2:

How was the post-event at the Blue Star (or blue-footed booby, or
whatever)?
