Ummm...not migration, but for the wintering birds (we'll make you
look at snow geese, swans, and dunlin, too). I think end of January
is better, myself...better chance of cold without rain.

As we all know, Tom did a fantastic job organizing the event.
I personally only saw two or three species of bird, though those
doing the geeky scope comparison tests probably saw a couple of
others.

We did not remain on-topic, indeed by the time we hit the pub
it was fish we were drinking like...
