I have been piling the stuff up in small heaps well away from any water -
forming compost heaps. Most of the plants should rot down - however the soil
amongst the roots may still have seeds present - there are no seed heads on
the plants themselves. I expect the heaps to be colonised by grass pretty
quickly so utimately there is less of a contamination problem than if the
plants were either dumped somewhere they shouldn't or got mixed inadvertently
with some soil/vegetation that CUH would use elsewhere. I don't expect any
large scale landscaping at Montlake so once the seeds are buried in the heaps
they shouldn't get spread around again.

This is full of assumptions, but given that the volume of material is not
going to be too high, it seems a reasonable course of action.

On the other hand, if you have any ideas ......
