I'll be travelling with a group throughout SE Alaska for the next 2
weeks...land, sea, air...looking at seabirds, whales, sea otters, rain
forest dwellers and anything else that is part of that environment. I've not
seen any response to earlier questions about the whereabouts of a Steller's
Sea Eagle that spent two or more years in the Juneau area (Taku Inlet/
River). Does anyone know of any recent sightings? Or of other special or
extralimital birds that may be in SE AK right now?

I'm familiar with the area - Prince Rupert to Glacier Bay - having travelled
there for 4 summers, and would be pleased to offer suggestions to anyone
planning a trip.

Thanks in advance,

Bryan Gates, Victoria
