Hi Stuart,

You have been busy with your scope and binocs, I see. I am waining to
hear from the banding lab about Canada Goose number 818-53908, which I
saw April 27 at the fill. Assuming I read the band correctly, it may
have had a different origin from the ones you saw (different band
prefix). Does the fact that I read only a three digit prefix indicate
that it is an older band, do you think? Or does it more likely indicate
that I read it incorrectly? I seem to remember size zero bands having
three digit prefixes in my youth, then switching to four digits. I'll
post details when I hear back from the BBL (mailed the report 4/27).
Incidentally, Stuart, you wrote the same band number for two different
birds below.
