I saw a female American Kestrel from I-5 just west of Fife this morning
(6/12), presumably nesting in the area, and I wonder if other tweeters have
seen kestrels nesting west of the Cascades this year (probably less
interesting in Oregon, where I suspect a lot of them nest in the Willamette
Valley). They're uncommon on this side, that's for sure, and it would be
interesting to determine just how uncommon.
