This message is to announce the Web address of the Washington
Ornithological Society (WOS) Web home page. This page was assembled with the
extensive help of Fred Bird. One of the leading elements of this page is
the Washington Birds Checklist. This list also contains the four letter
codes sometimes used to designate certain species.

Also included on this page are a description of WOS and a WOS
application/renewal form. There is a link to the Bird Images 'gallery'
which provides further links to a number of pictures including 5 by Dennis
Paulson, 4 by John Wallace, Skip Russell's Costa Rica Tour, and the WOS
Raven drawing by Linda Feltner.
