This happened to a similarly video-exposed peregrine chick in Springfield,
Mass (there they put the video on a cable channel 24 hours a day, so the
whole city sort of adopted the birds). Anyway, a male fledgie swallowed a
two pieces of meat connected by a long string of tendon or whatever. The
string caught around his tongue, trapping the meat to rot in his throat.
He looked *very* sickly, so the TV viewers called the USFWS, a team
removed the offending chunks, and the chick recovered quickly and fledged
successfully. So have hope!
