Relating to ravens is an article written for popular consumption in

"Why Ravens Share" by Bernd Heinrich (excellent natural history
writer) and John Marzluff.

The subtitle hints to the topic "Young ravens eat regularly, even
when food is rare, because they direct one another to food bonanzas and
fend off adults by feeding in large crowds" The question raised is whether
this behavior is a manifestion of altruism or selfishness.
