Seeing James West's post about four ravens and a vulture on a railkill
(Hmmm. "Four Ravens and a Vulture"... I'm home to Hollywood's call) reminded
me that a train-conductor here, Roger Craik, reported that when he works the
night trains going through the eastern Fraser Valley and southern part of
the Fraser Canyon, he sees small owls perched on the tracks ahead of the
train on a virtually nightly basis and seeing several owl-strikes by the train.
