Hi Tweets, all our calendars declare tomorrow to be the first day of
summer, but the presence of a Western Sandpiper at the Montlake Fill this
morning tells me it's the start of fall migration time. In a more
'summery' fashion, I also came across a Gadwall nest with 7 eggs, and
about 10 itsy-bitsy California Quail hanging out with the folks.
