The young pergrine continues to be feisty during her three daily
weighing/feeding sessions. Despite wanting to eat on her own, solid food
can't get past the blockage and has to be removed. Because she is not
gaining weight, feedings have been increased from two to three a day.

Since the lab work is not complete nor the diagnosis firm, she is still
receiving a broad-spectrum treatment with antibiotics, antifungals and
parasitics during the feeding sessions.

On a positive note the mouth and throat lesion, which is assumed to be fungal
appears to be receding slighty.

Yesterday the other female appeared to be sitting and gaping from time to
time and the worry was that she might be developing similar problems. Ernie
Rose and Bud Anderson observed her and the consesnus was that because she was
flying strongly and still under very active attentiona care by the parents
there would be no intervention at this time.
