Just a comment on Dennis' last post and his parting comments: I think
that one reason this topic comes up so frequently is that there is
interest, and not just among those who argue the different sides. As a
non-scientist who watches wildlife, I enjoy learning more about biology in
general, whether it's from observing birds or from reading debates about
species comments. I think tweeters is an excellent forum for learning from
each others observations and for opening new areas to learn about.
Besides, as Dan pointed out, it's still about birds! Thank you all for
sharing your views and expertise.
